Frequently asked questions

Where can I post a parcel on a Sunday?
InPost lockers, Royal Mail parcel lockers and many Evri lockers are open 24/7. Lots of Evri ParcelShops and Post Office branches inside supermarkets also open on Sundays. Postboxes are always open, but most aren't collected on Sundays.
Can I drop a Royal Mail parcel off at an Evri ParcelShop?
No. Each carrier's parcels must go to that carrier's own drop-off points. The exception is that many Post Office branches also act as Evri ParcelShops, so you can drop off both there.
Can I post a parcel in a postbox?
Yes, if it already has a Royal Mail label or enough stamps and fits through the slot. Larger pre-paid parcels can go in a parcel postbox, a Royal Mail parcel locker, a Customer Service Point or a Post Office.
Where do I post Special Delivery?
Special Delivery must be handed in at a Post Office branch or a Royal Mail Customer Service Point, so it can be scanned and you get proof of posting. Don't put it in a postbox.
